Default Instructions on how to Upgrade CX2?

Hello,

Is there any written of video instructions that detail how to go about replacing the stock cx2 parts with the aluminum ones? Specifically I'm looking to put in the eflite aluminum inner shaft and head, lower rotor head, swashplate and heat sink.

Thanks,

John

I haven't seen any videos. With the grips there was instructions. The inner shaft goes in like the stock one. For the lower head once I had it on the shaft I screwed the two screws for the top part into the holes on the outer shaft then aligned the lower part up to the top part then put the last screws in. Swashplate goes on like normal. Then for the heat sink take one motor out the put the heat sink on the motor thats attached to the frame. Then pop the other motor onto the other side of the heat sink. Then bolt it down.

I owned the blade for three weeks. My first heli. I saw this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7W3waOA9ANc
and changed all my parts to aluminum in about an hour.

The vid does not show the swashplate replacement but that is easy...it just slids on.

If you do it make sure you memorize of photograph how everything looks. If you just start taking things apart and laying them down you will become confused.
