Default Blade 400

Can you guys that have actually flown the Blade 400 give me the PROS and CONS? I am really looking at selling my T-Rex and buying the Blade 400.

I would keep the Trex, is there something wrong with your Trex? You must at least have a decent radio having a Trex? The B400 is a good flying heli but its not as advance as the updated Trex's V2s

I'd have to agree. Keep the Trex if it's fully working and assembled.

I'm really liking my Blade 400 so far as a newbie in the RC heli world but at some point I'm going to "upgrade" to a Trex 500.

Is there something wrong with your Trex? Or do you have a kit and it's a little more advanced to assemble than you're ready for? Then the Blade 400 might be a good idea for you.

Actually the T-Rex is new I bought it a two years ago from a friend. It is basiclly new, he built it but never flew it. I have a motor and an esc for it, so I still need a radio, servos, receiver and gyro. After figuring what the stuff cost that I still needed to finish it, I thought I would be better off getting the Blade 400.

The DX6i is pretty good radio and can fly the Trex as well. Save the Trex while you learn not to crash the B400 is darn good idear its what I am doing as well. If i get pissed at my flying I can grab B400 by its tail and smack it on the ground and still cheaper to repair it than the Trex, well thats a bit of exaggeration , however sometimes its better to have two of the same heli, so you can at least have one flying most of the time.

If it is a Trex 450 it will require the same space as a B400. They are the same size. If you have a Trex 600 then that is a whole different story. The amount of space needed to fly a 600 compared to a 450 is night and day.

The biggest difference I have noticed on my Trex 450 compared to the B400 is power. My 450 has way more power then the B400. It has been to cold outside to get out and adjust it.

What I meant to say was that I am limited on space to store it while I'm not flying.............

Keep the T REX its really a great helicopter. Get a DX7. If space is the only problem than you need to look harder. Closets hold several helicopters no problem. If you drop a few bucks on some cases they'll slide right under the bed. You never have enough helicopters or parts for them. Good Luck. Mike

I don't have any closet space for storing one and I store my RC car stuff under the bed. I guess maybe I need to sell off the kids....................to get more space...
