Default Batteries and Chargers! HELP

Ok i have a cx2, cpp, and blade 400, i have several batteries for each and i wanted to upgrade to a better charger that could charge 2 batteries at once. What charger setups are you guys using, and also where are you getting you batteries from. I have been unsucessful in finding batteries for the blade 400 on the internet.

any help is greatly appreciated!

Any battery that has 11.1V and around 2100mAh should be fine just make sure your balancer lead is the same that the charger uses.

Here's the eflite battery:

But ya, any 3s1p lipo around 1800-2200 mAh should work fine. You may just have to put the right connector on it.

thats what i thought, but i was told that different makes of batteries need different connectors/balancers. so if i were to purchase batteries other then eflite ones then i need a different balancer to charge this battery?

I was looking at the superbrain 989. what else would i need to charge my lipos with this charger?

You wouldn't necessarily need a different charger, just a different connector or adapter. The shapes of the connectors and the polarity may be different, but other than that electrically they're the same.

I'm not familiar with it but I took a quick look at some of the descriptions and it doesn't sound like a balance charger, but you could use a separate balancer with it like the blinky.

This is the charger I use:
http://www.tenergybattery.com/index....mart&Itemid=27

It's sold under a couple of other names also, but I can't remember them off hand (I'm getting old [:'(]) It charges each cell (up to 4) individually and has adjustable charge current up to 2A. It's pretty basic but so far I've been happy with it. It won't charge your Nicd and Nimh though and can't charge two 3-cell packs at once.

Cellpro also makes a 4 cell charger (cellpro 4s) with more features that people like:
http://www.fmadirect.com/products.htm?cat=45&nid=4

I think they're coming out with a new one that can handle more cells.

There are batteries that use the same connectors. I think align and E-flite are the only ones that I can remember. I know there was a topic on that on one of the threads that listed every battery and the connectors it had.
