Where do I properly dispose of the crappy-only-had-them-since-Chrismas EFlite stock 7.4v Lipo batteries? These two little jewels (one came in the box and I bought a spare at the LHS for 30 bux) are profoundly dying. I only get 4 minutes a piece out of 'em. I behaved with them and treated them no differently than my DN Power 900 10C batts that are AWESOME! So. Where do I properly toss/recycle these little miseries?

I have asked this question before and the best answer I got was to create a salt water solution and immerse your packs in it for a day and then throw them away in normal trash. For a more exciting disposal method, take them out to the shooting range and use them as target practice. Poof!

I know it is a joke to shoot them but would they catch fire.

I don't know about LiPo's, but I can tell ya from first hand experience that dynamite does indeed explode when shot with a bullet. One of the things we see in the movies that really is true

Please don't ask me to explain[X(]

My son has been running two stock, E-flite batts, and I have been running two DN 900, 10C since Christmas and all four are still going strong.

Did you ever balance them? If you don't balance them then you will shorten the life of your Lipos.................

Yes, I know. That is the point! AT least get some final pyromaniac urges out on them before they truly die!

take them to Batteries Plus ( if you have one ) they should re-cycle them, or tell you what to do with them

I'll take them .
If they are dead then at least cut off the connectors and save them in your repair kit. You never know when you might need an extra plug. Then just take them to Home Depot and drop them off.
