Blade 400 Eflite Servo position sensor gear issue
I've recently replaced my stock gear set with spektrum DSP75 and am having an issue with the gear that mounts on the position sensor spindle (this is also the gear to which the horn attaches.) The issue is that the spindle has a little notch but the gear is just round inside so when I place the gear on the spindle/shaft it does not lock into place and therefore the servo doesn't keep position. I'm thinking that using CA on nylon and metal seems a little crude and I am afraid it may not be a reliable solution so does anyone have any better ideas ?
I hope I've made this clear enough to where someone will be able to help.

As long as the servo arm drive gear (top) is snug on that pinion you'll be fine.
Just make sure you correctly center that notch with the molded stops on the gear.

RE: Blade 400 Eflite Servo position sensor gear issue
I see, so it is like that by design and shouldn't be locked in place? My servo arm was spinning 360 degrees around so I thought that was the issue but now that you mentioned the molded stops on the gear itself I see that there should also be a center stop on the housing of the servo. It appears that the one on my housing is broken and it is letting the servo arm/horn spin completely around. So, now it appears that I must purchase the eflite servo housing as well. Hmmmm these servos do appear to be quite problematic!
Thanks for the reply.

To be fair at best they are pants
I like most elflite helis and parts as they are very well built and affordable but the servos are rubbish, just fit some hitec HG`s and have done with your problems [)]

If I remember correctly the stop is on the servo case cover.
It's just a small tab inside the top of the case.
