Flying the CX2 without canopy
Does anyone ever fly without the canopy on it? I would like to make some adjustments (prop. & gain), and it would be much easier than canopy on, canopy off, etc.

RE: Flying the CX2 without canopy
I used my .44 special and made access holes in the canopy.
OK, I used a .22.
Seriously, I did use a Dremmel and put holes in the canopy where the trim pots are. You will find that once you get it set, they don't change unless you revise the helicopter. If it seems that you need to reset the trim pots, there's another problem you are covering up with the trim, and you'll never get done chasing your tail. Charge the battery pack, run it for 60 - 90 seconds to run off the high initial charge, then set the pots. They will be correct through the middle of the battery cycle and off just a bit at the very start and the end of the run.
