CX 2 toilet bowl swirl when hovering
Hi,
I know I read somewhere how to account and counter and adjust for this problem when the CX 2 will be raised up to 3-5 feet and then swirl clockwise in about a 3-4 foot circle. This is not a rotation under the blades but the entire heli just swirls in the room in a kinda backwards like water flushing down a toilet, any thoughts?
Thanks JPee

Hey Vince,
I appreciate a good sense of humor.
But I am serious when I say, I used to be able to lift that puppy off and have just sit there with no stick involvement and it would hang there like it was on a string. So I know this swirl can be taken out.
Thanks for your response.

RE: CX 2 toilet bowl swirl when hovering
It is caused by a variety to reasons :
1) check that you flybar is straight and swivels absolutely free. I replaced the top head on my cx with a new one, and it bound ever so much, causing tb.
2) Check that your blades are balanced.
3) check that your lower blade mount is correctly mounted with the set screws properly into the outershaft holes.
4) Check your swivel plate. Don't know if the CX2 is plastic like the CX. The CX is notoious for coming apart slightly. Press both halves together to see if it is seated together properly.
I once had the notorious toilet bowl effect, took everything apart and reassembled carefully, checking as I went, and it flew fine again!

Jpee,
I proved the toilet bow effect and solved my problem adjusting the fly bar. First: I notice some dirt, likes look a glue on tips rubber second: I notice a small diference between weigths and the center of tht shaft. You may look if the fly bar is not bent.
Cjg tips are very good too.
good luck

Yes, you sure
If fly bar is bound by top or weigths on tips rubber show diferences or blades are not balanced, the fly bar not spin well. Its a good idea to check the blades track adjusting link holder. All this can put the heli into a TB effect.
Sorry, my english is very poor guys.
