Holy smoke batman! What’s that smell? It’s quite simple Robin. What you smell is the shaft bearings in your B400 420h motor heating up and melting the main gear with the superheated pinyin gear. 4 minutes after the shutdown and emergency battery removal the top of the motor still had a tempter of 152f degrease. The lhs can’t help. Don’t stock - stock motor bearings or replacement motors. Although a 450 motor has a shaft you can reverse and will mount up, can’t find a pinyin gear for the 450 4mm shaft.
Now for the “Tim Allan fans” We can fix this right? Just need a Benford 6100 turbocharged brushless twin shaft motor with a 6 speed gear box? That'l make this heli fly better.
But seriously, any ideas on a replacement motor for my B400.
