Is it in upside down? Is the bearing plate above it screwed in properly? Take a picture, I have never heard of this.

I had this problem, but not this bad. I found out after a crash, the gears do not stay parellel with each other, one side will have a small gap gear to gear, the other side will have a large gap gear to gear. I Just replaced the main gear with the one way bearing in it and thats a fix. I was looking at the micro heli half aluminum main gear. Are these any good? i dont mind the weight if i dont have to keep replacing gears due to wobble. which will cause vibration. Im assuming you have the same problem im having, but more extreme

blkbrd79,

Well my friend this is your problem. Generally this happens "after a crash" but I have had it happen down the line a bit too. The side of collar that holds the one-way bearing splits! Don't get caught up in buying the main gear w/out the one-way bearing, Ive changed them but its not worth it, get the whol shooten match.

Good Luck JPee

That could be it. I have split that part too. I get the gear only and swap them. The gear is like $3 and with the bearing is like $8. I usually replace the gear about 4 times then replace the bearing and gear on the 5th. Get the gear with bearing to replace that and start fresh.

xyster101,

I could not acertain from the thread how much experience BLKBRD79 has. So at minimum this would get him on the road, or better said in the air. I like you save all of that stuff and re-use the one-way bearing if the gear is reasonably new. Thats why the one in the picture still has the bearing it, she's a keeper.

Smiles JPee
