First Major Crash
Had a bad crash today with my b400. Flew it well for the 3 weeks i had it, had 1 tip over, and 1 encounter with a table in the past. I just recently "attemped" some foward flight and did well for my first attempt. Got a little too confident and flew it on a low battery (battery had a minute or 2 left) Soon as i was bringing it to a stop, the heli jumped 50+ feet in the air (normal mode) and i lost sight and visibility of it. i cut the throttle, and randomly pulled back on the sticks since i thought the tail was at me, it came back so i could see it. I tried to regain control and it came down faster then i thought and slammed the ground going near full speed. Destroyed the skids, tail boom (everything else in the tail was fine) my $50 carbon fiber blades, main shaft, broken feather shaft (odd) washout control arm, flybar (cracked) flybar adapter (dont know exactly, but the setscrew hole in it is stripped) and the o-rings and thrust washers (fell out) Also the battery took a nice blow also. in the front right where the balance connector is. pushed it in a good 1/4 inch if not more. Checked the cells, all were balanced and read 4.77 a cell. Do you guys think i should reuse that battery? it had 30 flights on it. Its the stock battery and i have nothing else to use.

RE: First Major Crash
For the most part, the repairs needed are pretty obvious. As far as the battery goes, personally I wouldn't take the risk of using it again after a wreck like that, but it is totally up to you. Your best bet is to replace it with a good 3 cell LiPo
