Dave - thanks for the prop correction! LOL I'm glad to hear the book is helping. I still want vids of you nose in flying backwards!!!!
Angry birds HD ($2.99) is on my WishList only because it got some less than stellar reviews.

I have Angry birds HD on my Nook (along with Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio). All in HD. Never had a problem, and it looks much better than a friend's SD version of Angry birds. Maybe the problem is with the Kindle version...
Man, you dropped that job bomb that I missed! Why in shock if it was your choice? Anyway you should live a nice long time since you have more in your life than just work. You have US! (and your hobbies).
phD-
Hanger is nice, but if I even put a ding on either plane, there will be a problem. So that's a little more stressful.

Dave - shock because I never figured out what I would do if I retired! And here I'm semi retired (semi 'cuz I start my part time job Monday!) & still wondering what I'm going to do with all this freedom!
True I've got you guys but it only takes 10 to 20 seconds to read the posts now unlike the "good ole days" were we were doing a couple of pages a day! So that leaves 23 hr 59 min 40 to 50 seconds to fill in! LOL But I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Ok Guys
That Chuck for telling me "go fly it already" and that Ivan for putting me on my guard about planks with lights disappearing into the night...well it did not fly away for me..my lights config is a little different. Oh Chucky I did put my TX on terra firma this time without falling off the bed. Coming soon to a theater near you..camera man and hat cam.
Scotty and Dave I know you guys will crack up but Ivan will be in his element with jargon and Chucky will LHAO with the hat cam vid. Look out for the reply after being asked about the difference between day and night landing.
EDIT
It is taking hours to upload one video

Dave, I have never had a satellite fail. I fly my Mini Protos with just a satellite.

Ivan, does the satellite plug into a FBL controller or something? How does that work with *just* the satellite?
Chuck-
You're just going to have to post most to help fill up your time. Or read sloooooooower. With all the hobbies you've mentioned, I don't think you'll have an issue filling up your time. This will help: [link=http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2012/10/05/angry-birds-meets-star-wars/1613941/]Angry Birds Star Wars[/link]
I've been sitting on my arse for years!
LOL on the Lawyers comment.
phD-
Glad the night time activities went well. Always love your vids, like Ivan says, eagerly awaiting...
Took a 30 min. flight in a C-47 (DC-3) on Friday (post pics when I get home).
Also took the Blade mQX out for a spin. Some flips, forward flight and nose-in stuff. Video to follow.

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2
Phil - I may have to follow your lead & put lights on all my flying units. The wind seems only to stop just before dark! I haven't flown a plane in weeks!
I took the mCP X for a spin outside yesterday just before dark practicing my nose in, lost it & it slammed into the sidewalk! I have to replace the frame...
I did my 1st 2 day week at the old place & it seemed to last a month. How quickly one forgets! LOL

Phil...
Send the link to the heli stuff.
I was supposed to go a Redneck Spotlight flying thing tonight, but it's raining and crappy out.

Ah no! Big azz fish @ it again.
Nice to be able to ease into work. It'll come back.
My video program is giving me a hard time. Hopefully I'll have a video up later in the week. But in the mean time, here's some photos of a 1:1 C-47 (that I flew in)

Phil - there's only a small chip out of the sidewalk & the village will never notice it! LOL
Dave - pretty noisy in the tin can I'll bet! That had to be one thrill ride. How long where you up? Any urges to jump out & try to break the sound barrier??? P.S. I didn't see any water in that last pic, in fact it looked a lot like a desert!
Today wasn't so bad at work (I kept thinking about my PayPal account & that helps!), I'm starting to remember all that stuff I did. I'm out of town for a couple of days & as soon as I get back I'll order all the parts I need to make it a V2!
The warehouse I used to fly in is still pretty much empty & will be perfect for the mCP X & some nose in practice except for the concrete floors & heavy equipment scattered around!
