Default How does DX7se differ from DX7?

The Spring 2010 Horizon Hobby catalog describes the DX7se as having features attuned to flying helis. Does anybody have any experience/opinions with this transmitter such that they could say how it stacks up to a DX7?

I don't have the se, but it has a higher resolution only with AR7000 and up receivers. It is also faster to send signals than the original DX7.

Unless you're flying at an extremely high level, and with top of the line servos running on 8v, it doubt you'd see much difference. It also limits you in the receivers you can use and eliminates the trainer port.

I fly a DX7se. IMO, it is not worth it. There is only ONE RX that works with the higher frame rate. The AR7600 which is $130.00. They do not make this very clear. You also loose your trainer cable port so you can not buddy box or fly a sim with it. Unless you fly with an AR7600 RX, it is exactly the same as a DX7.

Don't waste your money.
