E-Flight Extra 300
Somes littles modifications for look a bit more scale like Extra 300 from E-flight. power set-up , Hacker A50 14XS serie V2 motor, Castle Ice 100 ESC,5S-3850 LiPo, 14X10 apc prop, with is set-up come to 1,100 watts,60 amps, at 8,500 rpm, verry nice plane and fast. Cheers

I just built and maidened this airplane. I have a Hacker A40-XX with a Hyperion 4S 4000Mah and a 14X7 APC. I have to say, i'm not impressed with the airplane. I'm still playing with varying CG's, at the moment i'm at the 3 1/2" mark with my battery about 1 1/2" in front of the wing tube. I feel this airplane has to be flown quite scale like. It can do slow flight, but if I try to do any type of high alpha aerobatics, the wing is stalling almost immediately. For example, I put the airplane into a half-azzed flat spin last night, and it was stalling like crazy on the recovery. Out of all my current airplanes, including my 1/4 scale Great Planes Yak, this little extra seems to fly like it has the lowest wing loading.
I have flown the airplane now with the max fore and aft CG, within the limits of the manual. I have 2 1/4" of rudder deflection, and it will not knife edge at the forward C.G. If i bring the C.G. back, the plane get's even more unstable with high elevator deflection and slow flight.
I'm starting to think that this is just the way this plane is going to be. Not sure. Looking for any opinions and insight from anyone. Thanks.

Hello all,
Beautiful plane. I had a bad incident with mine last week and I'm looking to replace it but I found out it's been discontinued. If anyone know of a source I'd really appreciate it, I loved flying it.
