Default Battery/ESC Connections

Have a new Extreme Flite 300exp with 80 speed controller. Ordered 6s batteries and both of them have 10AWG wire (one with no connectors...one with ec5 connectors. The ESC has 14awg wire and a Deans connector. Questions:
Will the wire gauge differences create any problems?
If not, do I want to switch the ESC to Eflite connectors or switch the batteries to Deans?
Thanks in advance for all help...and best wishes for Happy Holidays and prosperous New Year.

What motor are you using ?
Anyway, the add I read showed a motor using a four cell lipo.
The key to wire size is how much current will be coming from the lipo,
as well as how long the wires are.
