Default Model for Permax 480 or Speed 400 with gearbox.

I have 2 small motors:
Permax 480 direct,
speed 400 with 4:1 gearbox.
I want build a good model with this setup. I alsow want to have my 1700mah AA pack. for servos I will use two hitec 81s and 1 Hs55
Does anybody know something good?

Another question is what prop should I use for this speed 400 with gearbox?

I don't have any plans but you'll want to scale a plane to around 40" wingspan and 20-25oz all up.

The 4:1 geared Speed 400 can use an 11x8 prop on 8-10 cells. You'll get 18-21oz of thrust depending upon the cell count.

Also, your Permax Speed 480 can use 8-10 cells depending upon your setup. The Permax Speed 480 is really a 7.2v Speed 400 motor that can produce more power when used with 10 cells.

Good luck!
