Default How much thrust does a Razor motor produce?

I was thinking of some plane designs and was wondering how much thrust a Razor motor will produce? I am not sure what prop I will be using, not even sure if I will have a gearbox. So any information would be helpful. Also anyone know how much weight a Razor motor can hover? Thanks

Spazz...there are several different winds of Razor motors. Each wind performs differently. There are many different gearbox configurations. Each gearbox configuration performs differently. There are many different props. Each prop will produce a different amount of thrust depending on motor/gearbox/battery set-up. A razor without any gearbox will produce a vastly different amount of thrust than a Razor with a gearbox..and then there's the whole different gear ratio on the gearboxes.

To ask how much thrust a Razor will produce without any more information is like asking how fast will an airplane fly. Cub or Lear Jet??

Ok I know way to broad...How is this. What set up will give the most power while using a pheonix 10 ESC, and pry kokam 3cell li-polys? I hope that helps some. I would like toknow what gearbox, engine, prop. Thanks

I'm using the Razor 400 with a GWS EPS-300C (CS) 5.33:1 gearbox and 10x8 prop on a 3-cell Kokam 1500 pack.

Full throttle is about 10amps, but, since my 13oz plane hovers at 1/2 throttle, I rarely use it.

Choose the RZ-300, RZ-350, or RZ-400 for small parkflyers/micro helicopters in the 7-18oz weight range.

For larger 18-24oz models, choose the larger & more powerful RZ-2500.
