This seems a neat idea that a clubmate of mine has come up with for attaching a brushless Typhoon motor to his Swift foam 'V' wing model.

I hope it holds! I'm fixing the mount to the Swift's wing by passing 3-4 nylon bolts through the wing, sandwiching it between the aluminium mount.

I have x2 NiMH 7cell 730mAh packs waiting, but plan on using a LiPoly 3 cell 1500mAh pack, with a 7x5 APCe prop.

I saw a Swift using a similar setup flying a couple of weeks ago-the performance was outstanding. I will never go back to brushed motors again!

What is the weight, performance and duration difference between the 7 x 730 mAH NiMH and a LiPoly 3 cell 1500 mAH pack?
