3 folded wings
Three flyers at my field purchased the 48" version of the Great Planes Super Sportster electric. 
1 used a brushless set up, 1 was stock with Nimhs, and the 3rd was stock on lipos. 
All three suffered collapsed wings while in flight. [:@]It seems the ply spar only goes past the fuse sides by about 1 1/2" and then gets butt joined to a balsa spar which goes to the wingtip.[:'(] It's at this joint that all 3 wings broke.[X(] Reinforce this area before flying this plane.[sm=idea.gif]

Hey, 3 guys at my field also have the bigger Sportster and one guy did the same thing. Came out of a loop and one whole wing snapped, plane plummeted to the ground.
The guy got it all glued up and has it flying to this day doing loops, etc. He runs stock motor with Lipos. I hope the Mini SS doesn't have this flaw.
