Electric conversion of the Pegasus 40
Hello friends,
I have been flying glow for several years and my first plane was what now is known as PEGASUS 40 (http://www.acehobby.com/ace/TTR4556.htm). I have been considering changing to electric as they are silent, clean and just as reliable and effcient than glow.
Can any one tell me what do I need to make the Pegasus 40 electric? Motor, battery, should I use the same battery pack for engine and radio? or can you recommend a better semi symetrical wing for an electric aircraft?
I use to fly my Pegasus 40 on floats (glow Thunder Tiger .46) and it was a beauty. Could the same plane fly on floats with electric power?
Many thanks
Carlos
