Default Yak 54

I am wondering about this Yak 54 sold by Nitro Models. It seems to have a good price and I would like to hear from anyone that has flown one. Thanks Very Much, Capt,n

I have never flown or built the yak by nitro but have built and flown thier ultimate bi

flew really nice instructions are poor but if you have built planes before will get threw it easily

Also picked up thier cap 232 3d elec, it came with nitro engine mounts, tank no mounts for elec motor box says elec, no nitro engine size recomendations. Had it a while still have to build going to put an os .19 in it.

have built 3 other ARFS from other manufacturers didn't find much difference in the kit just the instructions

Hello, Did you build the Yak 54 from Nitro Planes, the 53" wingspan? I have just completed mine and am trying to determine the CG. The parts came together quite nicely, but the instruction manual is pretty lame.

Also, I installed an OS .61FX and am interested in how that will scoot the bird around the field. What size prop did you use.

Thanks in advance.

I just finished building mine last night. This one is a way better build than most of the planes they sell. I was very pleased with it. Who knows when I will get to fly it though. Heres is my build log. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=962233
