Default Hobby Lobby XXL Biplane

Just got through building the new Hobby Lobby XXL foam biplane. I have wanted to try covering a foam model and thought this would be a good candidate. She has a Axi 2808/24, phoenix 35, and 3 cell 2100 lipo's. Even with the covering total weight is only 30 ozs.
What do you guys think.

The covering was the hardest I have ever done. When it shrinks it warps the surfaces. Every surface had a curve to it when I got done. My solution was to press part down on level surface high side up and use strips of Econokote to get it even. If the curve was really bad would use a thick strip if not to bad used a thin strip, took a lot of experimentation. They are not perfect but much to my surprise the plane trimed out just fine and fly's great! Don't think I will do this again but it does make a great looking unique flyer.

Also its EPP foamy isn't it ? that makes it harder to do but does it strengthen it up a little bit?

Yep it's EPP. The strength it added is incredible. Just got back from flying three packs thru it. This is plane is a blast to fly, maybe it was worth the effort. I'm surprised it handles the wind so well at 30 ozs. It can do it all and with authority, I spend most of my time at half throttle or less. I have been landing at 10 minutes but it will probably do 15.

Did you have to add nose weight with the axi 2808?
I am going with a axi 2814/16 its the next size up and weighs a ton.
Here is mine not finished.
