I am putting together a home built that will be powered with a 42-40-900KV Turnikey. Target will be approx. 500W. If all things being equal, ie throttle control, etc. which battery will give me the longest flight times - a 3S or 4S @ 4000mh?

If you set up for 500 Watt to the motor the 4S will give longer flighttime.
