Sr batteries x250??
Has anybody built one of these and converted it to a more modern setup? I like the plane as it looks like a mini kaos, but I`d like to put a Park 450 in the nose and run a 3cell 2200 on a 10x6...thanks...Jason

Love this plane. A little fragile with the weight of the battery but lots of fun. wish SR came out with more kits

RE: Sr batteries x250??
I am trying to update a used and abused X250, but still haven't figured all the new brushless stuff yet.
From doing several searches on the web, almost everything I find is old (before 2007) and only talks about brushed stuff, or the older 9but at the time new) brushless items. I tried going through hobby king for a replacement, and while cheap, got a headache trying to figure out prop adapters would fit and which ESC's came with which connectors vs. no connectors at all... For now its put aside while I redo an Avistar (cut the wing in half and removed all the dihedral, tail dragger conversion, and more) and an old GP Patriot 40 ARF. Bill S. |

r/cmark42,
What setup did you use in your 250? (motor/esc/battery size) Thanks, Bill S. |

Yeah, thats what I`m trying to figure out...Thanks for the link as its an oldie...2002?? but so much has changed since then in electric...I`d like to put a 2200ma 3 cell in that thing and maybe 200 watts, but it looks a tad small for that and I don`t need a lawn dart..Its smooth looking and looks well built with nice hardware..I may just get one and build it and figure it out later...All I fly is 2200ma...It makes things cheap and easy..Jason
