Ugly Stik Modified To Twin Electric Power

Hi Guys

I`ve built and floan many ugly Stiks before and decided to try a twin version. I started by designing the wing, building it and using this, to design the fuselage and stabilizer. The wing is 64" span and the fuselage is 64" length. The stabilizer is a full symetrical profile and so is the wing. I`m using two Welgard W28/20/06 brushless motors, with two 40 Amp. speed controllers. Each motor has its own Flight Power 2170 maH. 3-cell Lipo battery. The total flying weight is 3,2 Kilograms and this is very light for a model of this size.

The fuselage and wing is scratch built and the whole model is covered in Oracover. The photo will show that it has a "Stik Design" in it and it really flies very well. When I maidened it a week ago,I noticed how easily it floated-it on the approach to the runway. Its fitted with a Dubro steerable nose wheel and its a breeze to taxi it around.
