Default beginner question

I am currently flying a flyzone sky fly max. What would be a step up in difficulty from this plane?

I like foam park flyers .

What is the best glue to use on foam for lasting durability.?

Are the single conversion receivers good enough ? For example, the Hitec 05S advertises "full range" but, is it as good as a dual conversion receiver ?
I haven't dabbled in the 2.4GH transmitter yet.
