NitroPlanes.com $99.95 Looks good but not as well finished as the CMP EP J3 or the CMP PT-19.

I just finished building mine and I have to say that this is one georgeous kit. Very well made!! I got it from Nitroplane for $99.00. This is my 8th CMP kit and other than the Cub 120, It is the best quality so far. Went with a 60amp controlle , Turnigy aerovate 1100kv 32-3846 motor. 14.8v 3000mah and 11x5.5 prop. PERFECT!!!!. hanged out the mechanical gear for the EPF DSR 42 electric metal retracts cause no one on the planet sell the oleos on the CMPadd!! Even CMP cant tell me where they got them. HUMMMMM!. 15min flying. dead on cg and all up weight 5.1lbs. Put the whole thing together with slow CA except hinges. Love it!!!! Psget the turnigy servo-slow down reverser chip from HK and you can keep both servos on a single y-harnes to the flap channel. Works perfect. Video to come soon. Bob

Here are the gear and the servo drivers for the flaps. you need two. You also have to go to EPF hobby and order the smalle 22mm strut arm(same as nose) for the mains as the plane will sit way nose down. $2.50US each. This thing is a charm. The robarts are way to heavy and require air system. IE: a 7+ lb airplane Yuch!! http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8863

I just got the EP PA 28. Can someone tell me the correct electric retracts to order....Sort of new to this hobby so I am trying not to goof up and order wrong parts.

The Cherokee 140 was a trainer, it did not have retracts.

This is not a 140. It's a PA-28R...known as a Piper Arrow. One of the many aircraft in the Cherokee series of Piper Aircraft. On a side note I wish they would make a Cherokee 140 it's a cool airplane that is never modeled.

Default CMP PIper Arrow P28, CG Location?

HI,

This is a long shot...But by chance do you still have your P28? If so, do you recall what the CG location is, measured from the LE of the main? I just recently acquired one and it didn't come with instructions. So, I'm searching high & low to find it. Lastly, did you have to modify the main wing incidence on your aircraft? I read a post where the builder mentions that this is necessary for the P28.

Thank you,
Rod
