One useful rule of thumb to start from is 100W/lb for modest flight, 150W/lb for something more spectacular... so you need 1600W-2400W... decide on prop size, then choose a motor rated for a bit more than you need, which, with appropriate Kv, can spin that size prop on the number of cells you choose... typically high voltage/low amps works better than the reverse.
