Default Props

Hi I have a HB Decathlon with a 7X6 prop I think, so what will happen if i put my 8X6 prop on it? and how exactly do you messure props?

Since your post is in an electric forum I assume you Decathlon is e-powered. Going up in diameter without decreasing pitch will result in higher amp draw and , I suspect in this case not much gain in performance.

As to your question about measuring props, I read the stamped or embossed label s
Seriously, it's quite a science to physically measure props without a pitch gauge.
