Nitro Planes Disappointment
I purchased a 1400mm P-47 and broke the prop on the first flight only to discover that nitroplanes
Does not carry any repair parts. Called them and they told me to contact te h support for a special order
I called long distance and was on hold for 30 minutes and they never did answer. Guess I am stuck with a new plane I can't fly!!!!

RE: Nitro Planes Disappointment
Your best bet with Nitroplanes, Banana Hobbies or any other Internet based importer is to not use them. Its fine to buy a plane from them but they never have parts for them.
Buy whatever you need from your LHS to repair your plane, dont take it in though and ask for help because you didnt buy it from them but they will sell you what you need for it.

Take the prop off and see what it is. It will be designated by diameter and pitch on the hub. Order a new prop from someone else with the same specs. You can probably get one a at hobby shop too. Props are semi disposable it is expected to break them once in a while.

This prop is unusual in that it has blades that fit into a hub, so it would have to be an exact fit unless you went to a completely different design. It may be difficult considering the motor shaft.

Go here, its your only shot at getting support. Tell them to take the spares you need from a returned plane.

Use the ole internet to research and find similar sized planes, then look for ways to use available parts from those kits, or possibly even completely different kits...
Never be afraid to work around a stock setup ... Sometimes it takes some head scratching and luck, but you can work it out without wondering when a ship from china will pull into port.
Best of luck !

What foodstick said.
It has a motor with a shaft? The shaft is some diameter. Measure it and buy a prop hub to match. Use a prop that is appropriate for the motor.
It would be odd to ground the plane because you can't get the exact odball prop that came with it, at least to me.

I haven't bought a plane from nitro planes yet so I can't comment. But I did two battery/charger orders, shipped very fast and everything works as advertised. Will do more business with them.

Such a shame that so many get sucked in by advertiseing. Should have done some research before spending money. What you bought looks great but certainly not what you should have bought for a beginner,SORRY.A suitable prop should be availabe though not a duplicate of what you had. Look for someone in you area for help, a club would be great.

I feel your pain. At least I am about to. I bought and have on backorder that small sweet looking BlitzRCWorks Nano P-51* foamie from their other company, Banana Hobby. It too has that same 4 paddle prop. I don't see any replacement parts on their website (but I do see that my backorder got moved from mid May to late May, and now mid June...). I wholly expect to have issues trying to replace the prop...
Is it worth it? I don't know. It's a $70 plane that I can throw in my car and "fly crazy".
I think the days of my buying from Nitroplanes, Banana Hobby and Xheli are behind me. I have had pretty good luck, but odds are I will be running out of lives. They have some very nice looking planes, and when I needed it I did get service from Eric on the RCDiscuss site that is there CS forum. But I am starting to move out of foamiesm which they have the corner on. No competition, not much leverage.

looking for same prop for a neighbor kid. No inventory at Nitroplanes. The hobby lobby prop looks exactly like what is needed EXCEPT the Nitroplanes stock prop is 14 inches in diameter, not 11.
