Default Power pod to get glider up

Anyone use a power pod on their glider to get it in the air? What engine do you use, how big is the glider you use the power pod with?

Thanks

Goldberg makes (made?) a power pod to fit the Gentle Lady. I used one, but it's a large thing adding drag. It's better to put the motor stuff in the fuselage, if you're thinking electric.
I've seen a few wet powered planes with add-on pods which work well.
Basically the guys just mount the motor with sufficient prop clearance over the wing on a stiff pylon. For .09-.15 motors two strut work better than one.
