Recomend me a motor?
I am working on a scratch build Airtronics Q-tee. It was my first RC airplane in about 1976. It used a Cox 049. I would like to buy a motor form Hobby King or similar that would turn a 6x3 prop at about 15k. That would be about 10 amps? I would be running 3S lipos. So about 1500KV?

I use both of these. Good little motors.

RE: Recomend me a motor?
If you motor sucks 16A it must be far higher than 1600Kv, and thus spinning that 6x4 prop at far higher rpm........ or hopelessly inefficient.
Look what an ancient Len'sRC 20mm/17T (~1550Kv) can motor could do with a 6x3 GWS HD:
6x3 GWS HD....... 13740rpm, from just 4.6A/50W!
