Default what is correct crimping location on power pole connector

Why is stated on some web sites when using a Gardner binder type crimping tool pliers type, that you should put the seam of the contact towards the little bump in the tool even on some videos on you tube are totally opposite in placement of the seam ,what I want to know is what is the proper seam location in the tool to crimp the contact for a 15 amp or 30 amp power pole connector
towards the little bump or away from the bump? here are some some video sites and it seems that they are totally opposite of each other. check both videos please .

Default RE: what is correct crimping location on power pole connector

the spade goes away from the seam.
notice how the video that shows him crimping the spade towards
the seam the guy has to crimp it 3 times before he feels
he has made a "good" connection.

I have some non insulated connectors that even
have an arrow on them showing where to crimp
and the arrow is on the opposite side of the seam.
