I received a "MANTIS" 45ASBEC5A , 2-6 LIPO/5-18N1Mh 1000 30C 11.1V PROGRAMABLE BRUSH-LESS along with a "SUPPO" BL 2820/6 motor for FATHERS DAY. I plan on using a "FUTUBA" R617FS receiver. I did not get any information on programming, especially on "speed control. Please help. Thanks

Not sure what help you need. Most brushless motors and ESC work right out of the box. Futaba's normal throttle channel is channel 3.

Have you made any progress?

It appears that the Esc is probably defective. A friend tried it with one of his motors & the results were the same. He then switched to one of his Esc's & the motor ran properly. It turns out that the Esc that came with the P-51, is 70A & not 80A as the manual states. The 70A was reported as having problems. I got a new 80A Esc but I haven't had the chance to check it out. Keeping my fingers crossed.
