I have a Starmax P-51 & the motor doesn't seem to develop full power. Everything is stock: 400KV motor, 80A ESC, 3800ma 4s 14.8v battery. At full power it is barely flying. Using a watt meter, it is pulling about 700-800 watts. It is my understanding that for the motor to develop full power it should pull about 1200 watts. I don't know this for a fact, but it is the general consensus of opinion. Have you any idea as to what the problem might be? Plane weighs about 6.5lbs.
