Another amazing high speed flight of world’s one and only split thrust vectoring single EDF VTOL system (70MM):

This unit is a revisit of the split MonoPhan Split thrust vectoring technology. This will be the new MonoBase in the MonoModule project.
This is a windy day but I still wanted test it, because this design provides superior thrust vectoring performance when compared to other MonoPhan thrust vectoring designs and beats the wind amazingly well. It does this by channeling the whole air stream. This is the maiden and the unit and is a little shaky. Needs further PID tuning but still performed very well!

Amazing speed and performance against strong winds today and some very nice closeups of the nozzles at work. Very fun to fly. I will keep on tuning as still a little shaky. Thinking of adding two small wings to avoid stalling at high tilt angles and see how fast it goes.

Thanks bud. An investor I guess
Fun flight with the new unit, new PID, better performance and higher speeds. I have a feeling that I can flip this unit. Actually, that is one of the reasons that I re-visited my split thrust vectoring design. I will try when I feel the unit is ready.
