What is a good .40 size electric sport plane?
After several years off I am returning to the hobby. Previously I had decades of experience including 480 size electric planes and helis, also gas and glo. I am looking for an electric plane slightly larger than a Pulse 15 like the pulse 40 but the kit appears to be an old design. Maybe you fellows could suggest a sport plane/motor combo using 5s 4000 mAh batts. that would be easier for me to see than the 480 size planes and better suited to a grass field.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Pretty much any 46 sized glow plane would fly well on a 5s battery.
Motor I run a 12x6 to 13x6 APC "E" prop

Thanks Buzz.
I was hoping to find a 40 size ARF intended for glow or electric like the Hanger 9 Pulse XT which appears to be out of production and have an inadequately sized battery compartment. I was an expert builder but now can manage little other than a full time job. Just got old.

Well this one is sort of like a Pulse. Well if you squint, stand way off while you have sand in your eyes.

Check out the ARFs available from Sig like the Four Star 54, the T Clips, Seniorita Sport, and the new Rascal 80. Sig also distributes Seagull Models ARFs and they have several airplanes that would fit your request. Go to www.sigmfg.com.
