Default 1 motor on quadcopter not powering up (twitching)

Hi, I am using a naze32 with latest firmware using cleanflight, Afro 12amp escs w/Bec, mt 2204 2300kv, diatone dristribution board, lemon PPM DSMX receiver and a DX6.

Motor 1 (that is connected to the esc that powers the naze32 through the signal wire) sometimes twitches and sometimes just does nothing when all other motors are working and in sync. When I connect to cleanflight and go on the motor tab it twitches.

I have tried calibrating the escs. The motor works with a separate esc and receiver. The esc with the same motor without using the board and just using another receiver worked... Eventually. For some reason that test didn't work to start with, the esc beeped and then the led turned off (should be green on idle) and the motor wouldn't spin. Worked after I left it for a while for some reason?

Not sure what is at fault, it can't be the motor or the esc. I don't see how it can be the naze 32.

Thanks for the help, Will

The most probable cause is a bad or intermittent connections somewhere. Check all you solder joints and crimps and check for exposed wire that may intermittently touch.

I have done that, but I will check again. Anything else I can go as well?

You have four motors, swap them to isolate the problem.

I have done that with everything apart from the naze 32. I have a feeling somehow that is the problem, when I plug it in on cleanflight the quad on screen responds weirdly to yaw. (Stops and then catches up with my movement.

Make sure you have the correct firmware for your board and application. Reload the firmware onto the board. No change then swap/replace the board.
