I've been flying on and off for a few years. Started with simulator and flying wings and over the last few month I've been flying the multiplex shark.
I feel at a good level with flying it right now up to a level of simple loops and high speed flight (At least what I can squeeze out of the shark).
I'm looking for my next plane. I want to step up from what I'm doing now and not get bored on one hand, but want to make sure I don't jump too high on the other.
Ideally I prefer to stay at a budget of under 150$ (not a deal breaker) for BNF version (I own a DX6i). From my endless forum browsing I'm considering:
1. Sports cub s
2. UMX Cessna 182
3. Champ S+

Of course I'm open to any other suggestions as well. Thanks!

So many planes out there. Hard to pick one. Most of the ones have build threads on them so you can read about them.



Here are a few, they are do not come with an Rx, but you can drop one in with ease.

Add flaps and this one comes in at a crawl. It flys very well. I like just flying at about 6 feet up and doing slow fly by's. Looks good in the air.

Four of us have these. They fly great. You can do loops roll and most aerobatics, just slower. They look good in the air and are pretty tough. Brother has augured his in a couple times, I have done the figure 9 landing too.

These are ARF's. You would need to get the gear to go with them. Not hard to do. Just more to learn.

A little bigger than anything you have flown. A good all around sport plane. Not hard to handle. Might want to get some who knows how to fly to check it over.

So many planes. The list is endless if you step outside of the BNF zone. Then if you want to build, oh man, a whole new world opens up.
