I've read a lot of complaints about it being overpriced and not including floats. No reviews by actual purchasers yet. They have delayed this thing forever. Started advertising it in large ads in the AMA magazine in November and just now taking pre-orders. There was obviously some issue in their early builds that sent them back to the drawing board and required re-engineering.
I think that the newly announced Horizon Maule is a far better deal at $100 less, including floats.

Yes. HK was advertising them as available for shipment last year. See the AMA magazine, Dec 2017 issue for proof. They still have not shipped a single plane to an actual purchaser. Five months delay, that's just wrong.

Easter has come and gone, along with April Fool's Day and still no Grand Tundras have been shipped. What could have gone wrong with the? HK is collecting lots of pre-order money but not shipping anything. Shenanigans?

You're still not adding anything of value to the thread Sarge. Anyone who wants to make sure they get one in the first batch will pre-order. If you don't want to tie up your money then just wait until it comes in but risk it going out of stock immediately.

Have they shipped any of the pre-ordered planes yet? No. Did the owner of Hobby King send a letter to the US government saying that there is no reason to prosecute them for violating laws regarding radio control devices since they will be going out of business soon. Yes!
Ergo: anyone that has sent Hobby King preorder money may be about as lucky as a window seat passenger on a Southwest jet.
