Parts List& Blueprints
Hello, I am new to building my own planes. I've bought a couple off EBAY, and flew those. I was just wondering where I can get a parts list & blueprints. Can i make 1 for under $200?

RE: Parts List& Blueprints
Okay, do I have to separate you two?
What might help in your search is knowing the terms "scratch building," and "plans." Scratch building is the art of building from plans (blueprints, but most are generated on giant photocopiers, and really aren't blue) using raw materials, cutting out your own parts. Most of your R/C magazines have plans services listed in the back. Check out www.rcmmagazine.com, www.modelairplanenews.com for starters. Many individual designers also sell their plans, but they're not well known.
Knowing what kind of plane you want to build will go a long way toward someone being able to give you a particular designer to contact. You can also find plans on Ebay, but be aware that a seller "uncle-willies" allegedly sells illegal copies of plans. There are others for sure, but he's the one I read the most complaints about. Be careful.
There are lots of reasonably priced kits out there as well. Laser-cut kits that literally fall together with no sanding required. Look beyond Tower Hobbies, there's a world of stuff out there. I really hate to say it because it's a competing site, but the sponsors page at ezonemag.com is probably one of the more complete lists of vendors dealing with electric airplanes and accessories.
