Default Potensky Eagle on floats?

Just wanted to know if anyone has tried this, and if they are reliable and all, or if it is hard/easy to takeoff/land.

Default RE: Potensky Eagle on floats?

I know a few people in my area that have the Eagle's close cousin, the Cobra, on the Potensky Cobra/Eagle floats. IIRC, one of them described taking off from the beach and landing on the water. Take note that I said taking off from the BEACH. The plane's got enough "go-juice" to slide the floats over sand fast enough to make lift and take off
