me-109
I am interested in the GWS ME-109 kit. The only other plane i've owned is the Aerobird, but I wasn't very happy with it. I am proficient in FMS. Is this the right plane for me? Or is the Slow Stick a better option?

RE: me-109
I might suggest something in the middle like the GWS E-Starter. Don't let the name get to you, it has ailerons so you can fly inverted and do outside loops. Maybe not with as easily as some, but its good practice. I had a blast with mine. As I got better and better, I started to get more daring. I ripped the tail of at least 5 times and the wing was pulled off twice. I finally just retired it. At the end I had put a Norvel .061 on it and it still kicked butt, and it had been repaired so many times it was probably about 20% epoxy. Warbirds are usually more hard to fly cause they snap so easly. If you are really in the mood for one, I would suggest the GWS Zero. I have the ME109 and a buddy has the Zero. They both perform about the same and I think mine has a little better design/build, but his flies alot more easy. Don't get me wrong, I love warbirds. I have had about 8 of them, but they do take some practice to fly and I think its a pretty big jump from the Aerobird.
