Himax 2025-4200 Slow Stick Report
Point of reference to any interested.
This is the setup:
GWS Slow Stick with STANDARD servos and Receiver
6-cell NIMH 900mah
Himax 2025-4200
GWS EPS-300 Gearbox "D" spur gear 6.6:1 ratio
15X10 GWS Slowflyer Prop! (1" clearance from deck)
RTF weight: Heavy. Around 24oz.
Test temperature: 2 degrees F
Take off: about 12 inches
Climb: around 75-80 degrees (7-cell will surely go vertical)
Acceleration: not to be believed
Amp draw full throttle: 15-17A
Duration: never drained battery. three flights each around 10 minutes before hands went too numb to fly.
