Default was going to order a nippy from HL, but out of adapters..

Anyone know how to make a 4mm adapter themselves? Would be pointless for me to order a motor and esc I cant use.

Any Idea's? Or some where else?

How about drilling a 3mm adapter to fit?? By 4mm adapter, I take it that the Nippy has a 4mm sharft and you want to mount a prop to it?? There are a jillion prop adapters, seems like something could be made to work..

You can get any of a number of 4mm adapters from Kirk Massey [[email protected]]. You'll have plenty of time to get one - isn't H-L out of Nippy's until March-April [or is that just the one I want - the 1812/100!].

Cheers, Phil

Must just be the one you want, the 0508/73 claimed to be in.

You could also try here - http://www.nesail-online.com/detail.php?productID=2207 Sal has plenty and all sizes and might even have the motor in stock if Hobby Lobby doesen't.

Check with Azarr at http://www.ecubedrc.com for the adapter.

I wouldn't ever recommend drilling out a prop adaptor for brushless motor. I wouldn't trust it, even if the Nippy isn't excessively high torque.

Just my opinion....

Hi Mike - I don't believe Sal at NE Sail stocks Nippy motors. As I understand it from Todd Long, H-L has decided that THEY will be the SOLE supplier of Nippy's in the US. I guess that's one way of removing competition in the market-place.

Cheers, Phil

Ah Thanks that is correct but Sal does carry the PJS motors, they sorta look like Nippy's. I guess I was just looking and not reading.

Exclusive distributor. That means if you want to sell them, you buy them through HL. My local hobby shop is a HL dealer, which is really cool because I can get all the Hobby Lobby stuff through them and not have to pay shipping.
