4 blade props
I am looking for a source for a pusher 4 bladed prop. Actually I am building a P-82 twin mustang and I need one normal prop and one pusher prop so I can counter rotate the motors. Too much toque with both spinning the same way. Anyone know of a source.

RE: 4 blade props
Not many 4-bladed tractor props out there, let alone ones with matching 4-blade pusher equivalents... Perhaps it would be prudent to make some nice scale 4-blade display props, then use whatever you can find for the flying part, be they 2-blade, 3-blade or 4-blade.

RE: 4 blade props
Thanks I was afraid of that. But a mustang or a twin mustang just has to have 4 blades. Wonder how much torque they would generate with both going the sam direction. Perhaps I could mount them at an angle to compensate?

RE: 4 blade props
What size is the mustang? The megatech 4 blade 8X8 prop is great, I use them on my Twinstar. It easily ROGs the 3lb5oz plane and can be throttled way back during flight. The set-up is a GWS EPS 400 on ratio D, it's the 3:1 ratio. I use a single 8 cell 1700 Sanyo FAUP pack, the 1950s weigh the same. You can't however run full throttle all the time on this set-up, but it's great for ROG and climbouts. I don't experience any torque problems.
