Default newbie... aileron servo problem

hi, i am a total newbie, and i have purchased a FVK Trendy. i am having troubles with installing my aileron servos. i havent glued them in yet, but when i attach the pushrod that is supplied with the kit i realise that it isnt quite long enough. basically in the neutral position it almost reaches the aileron. (when i get my camera working i will post a pic.) i could attach a clevice to the control horn (not yet attached) but if i was to attach the clevice to the control horn the only way i can think of attaching the pushrod to the clevice is by soldering then together, but if i do that then i would not be able to make adjustments to my aileron position by screwing or unscrewing the clevice.

i would have thought this would have been writen in the instructions, but they are extremely brief.

i'm sorry if this seems trivial to you guys out there with 30 years of modeling experience, but as this is my first plane, i am stuck. please help.

Hi: Try cutting rod in middle and use a piece of brass tubing to extend it.

Go to your LHS and buy some more pushrods or try Micheals or Hobby Lobby etc.
