In an RC publication within the past year, I remember seeing a diagram on how to make a foot pedal release for launching RC planes (primarily EDF) with a bungee cord. The foot release mechanism was simple and incorporated boat/sailboat hardware that was mounted to a piece of plywood. If anyone can recall here this can be found, please let me know. Go to www.ezonemag.com and to the left of the screen, select the link for "construction". One oif the "articles" there is the construction of a foot-release launcher. Somewhere in the text it states that it is analogous to a design published in a magazine.
