Thinking of picking up a Slow Stick tonight.
I am curently learning on an Avistar with a .46 AX. I was thinking of picking up a Slow Stick to play with at the house. What I would like to know is how big of an area do I need to fly it. I have about 3/4 of an open acre with a ceiling of about 100 feet. Is this a large enough area to fly it. My lot is bigger but it has a power line in the middle of it at about 25 feet high. I dont want to buy it, if I dont have a large enough area to mess with. Its not big enough to run my Firebird in. Or atleast large enough for my comfort.

The slow stick should be fine to fly on a 3/4 acre lot. I fly mine and a lot of my foamys in an aera about the size of a tennis court. I think you should be fine..

Thanks. I was checking with my lhs. 29.99 for the stick, 55 for a hi tec reciever and 18 for the servos. I think I already have a battery and charger that will work. I think I might pick it up this weekend.
