Could I tie a rock to it?
Greetings!
Having a ton of fun getting into RC flying with the [link=http://hobbyzonesports.com/Products/Detail.aspx?ProductID=HBZ2500]Firebird Commander[/link], but finding it difficult to get flying time in due to the wind. Manual says not to fly in winds over 7MPH, but even the slightest wind is pushing this plane around. So, just wondering if there was anything I could do to counter. Could I add weight to the plane???
Also, anyone know of a site that would list airfields by city / state? Love to be able to find a larger area to fly if I'm going to get blown all over the place!
TIA!

RE: Could I tie a rock to it?
Adding weight to something that small (i reckon) would decreas its performance a lot more than help it in the wind
Try getting up early and flying just after sunrise. Thats the only time I ever go flying and it is perfect. Not a single movment of air.
