Teltech BD-5 Motor?
Just starting my Teltech BD-5 Kit. Have on hand a new Aveox 27/26/1.5 Motor(KV 3300) capable of 44 amps continuous and
60 amp bursts. Where can I find a Gear Box with a 2.0 ratio for the Aveox? If I can find one, using an APC-E 8 X 6 prop,
ECALC2 predicts 109 watts per lb., 36.8 amp draw, about 7 min. cruise time. AUW is 52 oz. The battery pack is
a 10 cell FAUP 1950 NIMH pack.
I also have on hand a new Castle Creation's 45 ESC.
If a good gear box for the Aveox can be found, DO YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD FIT?

RE: Teltech BD-5 Motor?
Hard to say if it'll be a good fit or not. Haven't heard of a Teltech BD-5 kit, so I don't know how big it is, how much it weighs, etc..
Take a look at the MEC Superbox at http://www.modelelectronicscorp.com.
